Today I am going to help you with your kitchen stove. Most people do not like cleaning their stove because they think it is to hard to do. We can clean the most cooked on stove in about 20 mins. tops.
The first thing is to get your area ready. Make sure the sink is empty so that you have room to work. If you have a stove like the one here on the right these grates are really easy to clean if you fill your sink up with warm sudsy water. I recommend Dawn because it cuts the grease really fast. while these are soaking just take your sudsy towel and clean the inside of the stove. The suds and warm water will just clean this right up. And if you do it before going to bed it wont have time to get really hard. After you have cleaned the inside and have it looking all shiny just wipe all the knobs and outside surfaces. Take a dry towel and polish right away and you wont have any streaking.I always recommend microfiber cloths.

Now go to the sink and usually all you have do is wipe the grates with your sudsy towel rinse then dry before putting back in place. Even if it is really cooked on and hard just let them sit in hot sudsy water longer. The longer they sit the less you have to scrub.  You want to dry the grates before you put them back so that it doesn’t cause rust spots where they sit on the stove top. Also on your gas ranges you want to turn on the burners for just a second to dry out the water that might have gotten in them when you were cleaning.

Cleaning tips for helping your shower stay clean

Showers often get pink very quickly this time of year around here anyway due to the high humidity. One way to help keep this under control is to keep the exhaust fan on after you shower for at least 15 minutes. This helps to get the moisture out of the shower. You should also leave the shower door open. The moisture will not rise up. It will stay low and if the door is left open this will help it to get out and not turn into mold.
Another great tool to have in your shower is a squeegee. Before you get out of the shower just wipe all the areas down including the doors and the floor. The less moisture in the shower will help keep the mold from growing.

Another tip to keep your shower cleaner longer is to make sure you rinse all the soap off the glass and walls before you get out. The soap you leave behind will start to create soap scum. When left on there every time you shower you just keep adding onto it. This is why when you get ready to clean your shower you just can’t seem to get that off.

Now when we come into clean your shower, we make sure all the soap scum is off and the glass is streak free. One of the reasons we can do this is because we make sure all traces of the cleaner we use is rinsed off. Cleaners are made to attract dirt so if you leave cleaner on the walls and glass all it is going to do is attract the dirt.

The really important factor relative to your cleaning fee is that you get good value for your money and that should be more than just a good cleaning job.

We are Cleaning For A Reason

Happy Saturday!!

I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did. Our local hospital was in a competition awhile back and this was there submission for a breast cancer research.

We are part of a national foundation Cleaning For A Reason. We provide free house cleaning for women battling cancer. I am very passionate about this because in 2003 one of my friends and client was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I watched from diagnoses till her cancer took her 2 years later. I saw how difficult it was for her to be able to do the smallest things.

We love to be able to help in our own way and a clean house and environment contributes to the welfare and recovery of patients. You can help by donating or passing along this information.
